It was very hot yesterday so we did not get much done at all. I got my weather station put together and working but the rest of the time we spent just trying to keep ourselves hydrated and cool.

The temperature was in the mid 90s with a heat factor of 106 and it was very humid. We were sweating just sitting still.

In the morning we went to town and washed my clothes. Literally everything in the camper was moldy from the walls to my clothes to my dishes. Even plastic spoons got moldy. Metal and leather and vinyl got moldy.

I fired up my generator to power the air conditioner for my parents. That worked for a while but the generator eventually overheated and shut itself down.

In the later afternoon it was so hot that my parents decided to rent a motel room for the night to cool off and wash themselves up nicely.
