浦井健治 Profile / Kenji Urai Profile

2000年、TV「仮面ライダークウガ」（テレビ朝日）でデビュー。04年『エリザベート』ルドルフ皇太子役に抜擢。

以降、ミュージカル、ストレートプレイ、映像作品と幅広いジャンルの作品に出演。
15年第22回読売演劇大賞最優秀男優賞、17年第67回芸術選奨文部科学大臣演劇部門新人賞など数々の演劇賞を受賞。

近年の出演舞台には、『リチャード二世』、『メイビー、ハッピーエンディング』、『天保十二年のシェイクスピア』、『ビッグ・フィッシュ』、『ヘドウィグ・アンド・アングリーインチ』、『笑う男』、新感線☆RS『メタルマクベス』disc3などがある。

2021年8月からは、名作ミュージカル『王家の紋章』に出演するなど、ミュージカル界に欠かせない存在となっている。

舞台以外にも、16年には1st アルバム『Wonderland』を発売し、同年には東京国際 フォーラム・ホールA で初のソロコンサートを開催。

2021年には俳優生活20周年を記念して、2ndアルバム『Piece』をリリース。

2016年以来となる東京国際フォーラム・ホールAでのコンサート『浦井健治 20th Anniversary Concert～Piece～』を開催、大成功に収めた。

また、ラジオ「浦井健治のDressing Room」（ニッポン放送）のパーソナリティーを務めるなど、多彩な活動を展開している。

Urai debuted as an actor in 2000 in Kamen Rider Kuuga television series (TV Asahi).
In 2004, Urai was selected to play the role of Prince Rudolf in "Elizabeth".

Since then, Urai has appeared in a wide range of genres such as musicals, straight plays, and video works.

Urai has won numerous theater awards, including the 22nd Yomiuri Theater Awards Best Actor Award in 2015 and the 67th Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Art Encouragement Prize for New Artists in Drama department in 2017.

Urai’s recent appearances include "Richard II (リチャード二世)" "Maybe, Happy Ending (メイビー、ハッピーエンディング)" "Shakespeare in the Twelve Years of Tenpo (天保十二年のシェイクスピア)" "Big Fish (ビッグ・フィッシュ)" "Hedwig and the Angry Inch (ヘドウィグ・アンド・アングリーインチ)" "Laughing Man (笑う男)" and Shinkansen ☆ RS "Metal Macbeth" disc3 (新感線☆RS『メタルマクベス』disc3) etc.

Since August in 2021, Urai plays in the masterpiece musial ”Crest of the Royal Family (王家の紋章)” and become an indispensable presence in the Japanese musical scene.

In addition to the play, his 1st album "Wonderland" was released in 2016, and his first solo concert at Tokyo International Forum Hall A was held in the same year.

In 2021, the 2nd album "Piece" was released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his acting career.

The concert "Kenji Urai 20th Anniversary Concert ~ Piece ~" was held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A for the first time since 2016, and it was a great success.

In addition, Urai is developing various activities such as being the host for the radio program "Kenji Urai's Dressing Room" (Nippon Broadcasting System).
