Happy Father's Day! - Jonathan & Clark ["Look Through My Eyes" by Phil Collins] (a 7-vidder collab)

Описание к видео Happy Father's Day! - Jonathan & Clark ["Look Through My Eyes" by Phil Collins] (a 7-vidder collab)

(We're a few days early for the holiday!) Voiceovers are transcribed at bottom of description!! ~~~ This our 70th collab, and another specific-theme one. This time, we did a tribute to the main father/son relationship on the show -- aka the relationship between Jonathan Kent & Clark Kent on the TV series Smallville. The last time we vidded them:    • Kent Family collab (Martha/Jonathan/C...   we vidded the whole Kent family with Jonathan (and even the dog Shelby too haha. That "Home" by Phillip Phillips video is still one of my personal favorite collabs on this channel.) This time 3.5 years later, we decided to focus on only Jonathan & Clark in particular. There were still way more scenes than we could get into this collab. They have SO MANY wonderful moments.

Note that we could use more members so if you're interested in joining the group, please let me know! Not that many people seem to vid Smallville anymore but I'd love to keep this group alive for as long as possible!!

Our next vid will be a pretty different one where we vid AU and crossover type stuff, but in a specific way - it'll be manips basically the whole time... ;)

I, luvtheheaven5 (the host of this collab group) rendered the collab this time, and did the coloring, watermarks, thumbnail to represent the vid, and end credits.

If you want to audition to join the group, send a message to me, the group host, at my luvtheheaven5 channel and I'll talk to you about it. As I said, we could always use more members. ;)

Song: Look Through My Eyes
Artist: Phil Collins
Lyrics: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/philco...

This was a collab made by 7 different people (vidders).

The song was cut up into 14 parts. Each vidder made 2 parts in this collab. Thank you for everyone making their parts, and by the deadline too so we could get this up by the holiday!

Episodes that featured John Schneider were split up this time, in order to not repeat clips. For each of the 7 vidders in this collab, a vidder had either 14 or 15 episodes to work with, plus if someone else wasn't using a scene they could borrow from someone else's group!

Voiceovers:

You gotta have faith. And we'll figure this thing out together.

He's my father; of course he'd sacrifice anything to protect me!

And I need you to be strong.

Dad, no matter what it takes, I'm gonna find out who did this.

Thanks for always believing in me.
You're welcome, son.

I'm proud of you.
Thanks.

You can't tell anyone about Clark.

You could be the world's greatest hero, or its most mild mannered citizen.

I love you, son.

When I'm searching for answers, I turn to my dad. I guess it runs in the family?

That just reminds me of how special you really are.
That's because Eric didn't get my two strongest gifts: You and Mom.

We are a flawed race, sure. But we're a flawed race that's raised you.

I've just missed you so much.
Then let me be there for you, Clark!

You said, "Hold onto Smallville". And I will, I will never forget it. It's gonna be with me no matter where I go. Goodbye, Dad.

You're gonna let some assistant coach from Metropolis teach your boy how to play football?

It's just... hard looking over at your son and realizing you're talking to a man.

Always hold onto Smallville.

I am sure that someday there'll be someone you can tell.

Clark, I don't know how to protect you anymore.
That's not your job.

Even your abilities are no substitute for a three-quarter inch copper washer.

Your job is to teach me how to protect myself.

You make sure you give yourself a fighting chance.

Your dad's jacket?
Yeah, it's just a jacket.

Jonathan, you should go talk to Kyle, get this cleared up.
Yeah.
No, I'll go!
Clark, I don't think that's a good idea.
Dad, I understand what it's like to be hidden from the world. Give me a shot.
