Today, I traveled from Tokyo to Kyoto via the bullet train (Shinkansen)!

Places I visited:
Nishi Honganji Temple - smack in the middle of Kyoto, this temple has its charm. Maybe it is more of a local temple to visit because it was nearly empty but it's always nice to visit temples when there aren't a lot of tourists around.

Kyoto Yakiniku Hiro Kiyamachi - really good yakiniku spot for Japanese BBQ. The quality of beef was top notch and honestly, it is kinda on the expensive side relative to how affordable food can be in Japan but if we compare it to a Korean BBQ restaurant in the United States, it is well worth the cost. If you are looking for a fancier dinner restaurant, this is a place I recommend going!
