Zion Narrows Winter Hiking

Описание к видео Zion Narrows Winter Hiking

Hiking the Narrows of Zion Canyon is one of the most unique and memorable hikes you’ll find anywhere in the United States. Located in the popular Zion National Park in southern Utah, this hike follows the north fork of the Virgin River and leads you into a stunning gorge with amazing rock features. The first mile is a paved pathway suitable for all ages and abilities, but once you arrive at the end of the walkway, the trail IS the river! Time to hop on in and get wet!

Come tag along with me on my solo adventure as I explored the canyon in December. While water temperatures are chilly in the winter, the gorge is much less crowded than during the more popular warmer months. With a little help from a drysuit, river boots and some strategic layering, this hike is just as amazing in the cooler weather - and if you’re lucky, you may even find that you have parts of the canyon all to yourself!
