PROJECT STEPS
1. As a marketing assistant at Bayside Children's Hospital, you have been working with Margot Leung, the Program Director, to develop a presentation that showcases the hospital's services and provides information about the 50-year anniversary celebration of the hospital's founding. The presentation will play on a loop at kiosks in the hospital foyer. Margot asks you to make sure the presentations includes interactive and multimedia elements to engage passersby.
Begin by inserting a hyperlink to the text "50 Years of Serving Sick Kids in New Jersey" on Slide 1 that goes to Slide 11 in the presentation.
2. On the title slide, insert the audio clip file Support_PPT365_7A_Music.mp3, and then modify it as follows:
a. Position the audio clip in the bottom right corner for the slide below the gray vertical bar.
b. Trim the audio clip so that it stops at 00:09.000.
c. Change the audio clip Start option to Automatically.
d. Select the Play Across Slides audio option.
e. Rewind the audio clip after playing.
f. Loop the audio clip until stopped.
g. Change the audio Volume to Low.
h. Hide the audio clip object during the slide show.
3. On Slide 2 ("Our Mandate"), edit the hyperlink on the purple Go to End Action Button so that it goes to the last slide in the presentation.
4. On Slide 3 ("Key Performance Areas"), use the content placeholder to insert a new SmartArt diagram using the Diverging Radial layout in the Cycle category, and then add data as follows:
a. Show the SmartArt Text Pane, if it is not displayed.
b. Enter text in the SmartArt Text Pane as shown in Figure 1.

5. With Slide 3 ("Key Performance Areas") still displaying, continue to build and format the SmartArt diagram:
a. Move "Process" below "People".
b. Add Place as a bullet under "Process".
c. Apply the Polished SmartArt 3D SmartArt Style.
d. Change the SmartArt colors to Colorful – Accent Colors.
e. Change the height of the SmartArt diagram to 5".
6. On Slide 4 ("Our Executive"), edit the hyperlink on "Wanda P. Quinn" so that it goes to Slide 5 ("Physician-in-Chief").
7. On Slide 5 ("Physician-in-Chief"), reset the picture to its original settings and then format:
a. Resize the picture so that its height is exactly 6".
b. Flip the picture horizontally.
c. Turn on Smart Guides and position the picture as shown in Figure 2.

8. On Slide 6 ("Top Level Pediatric Research"), use the content placeholder to insert the video file Support_PPT365_7A_Research.mp4 and then modify the video as follows:
a. Apply the Drop Shadow Rectangle Video Style.
b. Change the video Volume to Mute.
c. Select the option to rewind the video after playing it.
9. On Slide 7 ("Pediatric Services"), make the purple oval shape a hyperlink to the file Support_PPT365_7A_Specialties.docx.
10. With Slide 7 ("Pediatric Services") still displaying, edit the hyperlink to add Click to open the current list of pediatric specialties. as the ScreenTip.
11. On Slide 8 ("Special Programs "), show the SmartArt Text Pane, if necessary, then format the SmartArt diagram so it includes two additional pictures:
a. Add two new shapes to the SmartArt.
b. Insert the picture file Support_PPT365_7A_Baby.jpg into the first new shape.
c. Insert the picture file Support_PPT365_7A_Clinic.jpg into the second new shape.
d. Add the caption Child Nutrition to the left shape, Healthy Baby to the middle shape, and Wellness Clinic to the right shape.
e. Close the SmartArt Text Pane.
12. With Slide 8 ("Special Programs") still displaying, continue to enhance the SmartArt:
a. Set the Height at 5" and the Width at 8".
b. Change the layout of the SmartArt to Bending Picture Caption.
c. With Smart Guides showing, position the Smart Art as shown in Figure 3.

13. On Slide 9 ("Family Support"), change the picture to Support_PPT365_7A_Family.jpg, and enhance the picture:
a. Resize the picture so that its height is exactly 4".
b. Position the picture approximately in the middle of the content placeholder.
c. Change the brightness and contrast of the picture to Brightness: 0% (Normal) Contrast: +20%.
d. Change the color saturation of the picture to 66%.
