Crazy Duo in Lanao del Norte

July 3, 2018. In line with the celebration of the 59th Araw ng Lanao del Norte and in giving thanks to the constituents of the province, the Provincial Government prepared various activities for the people by inviting Crazy Duo, the famous comedians and the Bisaya Rock band Missing Filemon, both groups from Cebu. Crazy Duo was first seen in national television when they compete in “It’s Showtime Funny One”. Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo and 2nd District Representative, Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo laughed at the jokes thrown by the pair along with the crowd of people gathered at the Grandstand of Mindanao Civic Center Sports Complex. Right after the comedic pair’s performance, Missing Filemon played their famous songs as the crowd sang along with them. The Fireworks lights up the evening sky, as it displayed luminous colors synchronizing with the songs of Celine Dion. The pyrotechnic presentation took more than 10 minutes which mesmerizes the spectators and cheered to every bang and explosion.
