It's time for her to conquer the Internet, and the title of her latest album (available on Broadway Records) tells the story — she's "In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention." In this premiere episode of "Life with Laura," Benanti invited Playbill over to visit her while she answered emails, attempted to save a Saudi Arabian prince, called in a favor from a window washing crew and unpacked her vast collection of self-help books. The title rap tune was written especially for Playbill by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
