Hi everyone! In this video, I decided to go “myth busting” for some of the concepts about what doing a PhD is like 🔬📚 There are a lot of cliche perceptions about how stressful and hard PhDs are, and once you’ve done one, you are “specialised” and have to stick to that particular area! NOPE! Not necessarily!

I’ selected top 5 myths I’d heard or come across online (“favourites” of mine!) and I broke them down with a touch of my personal experience as a PhD student 👍🏻

I hope that this video will help to clarify things, especially for those uncertain about whether doing a PhD is right for them because there is a number of rumours about how tough it all is. So I am here to spread some PhD #positivity for you!
