This is a well known glitch but it's still interesting to show it off, as there's a vast area to explore beyond the boundaries and there aren't many opportunities in Shenmue to glitch out of the world.

This is one of the easiest glitches to perform. You just need to place Ryo between the gate and the window of the little shack and wiggle from side to side. After a while he will clip through the wall and you'll be able to literaly run circles around the entire Old Warehouse District.
Be aware that there is no real way to get back in there so you'll need to wait until 4 am if you don't want to reload a save.
