Marty Alencar decides to help out fellow mercenary Quarbani Singh by stealing some prototype ammunition being tested by the factions.
After that, he is hired by Prosper Kouassi to kill Dr. Leon Gakumba and destroy the UFLL's influence in the north of the country. Marty is betrayed and ambushed by Kouassi's APR troops as soon as he performs the assassination. After escaping, Marty learns from Reuben Oluwagembi that the APR is rounding up all remaining civilians and freelancer mercenaries in the area for execution to consolidate their power.
Returning to Mike's bar to help his friends fight the APR's onslaught, Marty ends up shot and he goes down...

PS: From this point forward the game stops pulling it's punches and there is a dramatic spike in difficulty. I suffered many deaths in the barge mission and the subsequent escape from Port Selao.
Also, RIP Mike's Bar band of mercenaries. You all deserved better.
