Anjanette Abayari is a Filipino-American actress, beauty queen, and model who gained fame in the Philippines, especially in the 1990s. She is best known for her role as "Darna," a popular Filipino superheroine, in the 1994 film adaptation. Anjanette was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe in 1991, which allowed her to represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant that year.
