Breaking News: The Supreme Court has declined Google's stay appeal against the Competition Commission of India's order of slapping an Rs. 1,338 CR penalty on the company for exploiting its dominant position in the Indian market for Android. Very significantly Supreme Court has asked Google to deposit 10% of the fine amount imposed by CCI within a week. NS Nappinai, Supreme Court Advocate said that this order is an affirmation of the effectiveness of CCI and the fact that these laws are going to be taken very seriously in India.
