NEW Mtb Trail in Marquette | Raging River Mtb Trail

My first time riding the newest mountain bike trail in Marquette, MI | Raging River Trail (completed summer 2024). This trail follows the river and is nesteled right next to the newest campground als called Raging River. This is a multi-direction flow trail with some big optional lines and extraordinary views of the Carp River Falls. The lowest point actually lets you stop and admire Morgan Creek Falls as well from across the river.

The ride started from the Highway (553) to the Carpe Diem intersection. There are several ways to get to this location, we started at the South trailhead, road the service road, went down Carp Eh Deim a short distance, then took the new trail “Carp River Falls Trail”, to the dirt road through the new campground (Raging River). Near the bottom of the road we jumped on “Through the Woods” which ends at Highway 553. These trails mentioned are all 2-way so you can loop or ride out and back.

To make a nice loop out of this you can tie into Morgan Creek Loop, Old Camp, and/or Zueg’s with a little planning.
