Mat’s taken a trip to Japan, and he’s been given the chance to take a tour of Toyota’s GR factory!

This is a real exclusive opportunity for Mat & the team, as very few journalists have been allowed to delve deep into the inner workings of what goes into building the GR Yaris.

For starters, he’ll be taken on a test drive on the official GR gravel track, a 1.5-mile circuit used to push the cars to their limit to ensure there are no imperfections or issues. Thus, owners can push their GR Yaris to the absolute limit.

Next up, he’ll have the opportunity to visit the exclusive MN Garage - and he’ll be the first journalist to ever be allowed access! He’ll have a chance to get up close & personal with the first GR Yaris mule, the first Yaris WRC car, and even a 1 of 100 GR IQ!

Finally, he’ll enter the factory to see exactly how the GR Yaris is constructed, following the process from the car's first creation to quality control for the finished product.
