Israel police spokesman defends al-Aqsa security measures

Micky Rosenfeld, the spokesman for Israel's police force, has defended the right to impose new security measures, including metal detectors, around the al-Aqsa compound following a deadly shootout between Palestinians and Israeli forces.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, he failed to acknowledge the Jordanian authorities' right to manage and administer Jerusalem's holiest site, which was declared by the United Nations.
