First, Tim finally makes up a pen holder that has been sitting un-made in his collection for 25 years!

Next, from Germany, a lovely collection of painted lead toys, that represent market scenes. It is a modern version of a toy that is probably 100 years old.

Then Tim demonstrates a cat toy from the USA. Pity Tim doesn't have a cat!

Finally, from 1953, a toy called WEAVE-O-GRAM from Chad Valley. Founded in the early 19th century, Chad Valley was an iconic toy in the UK for many years, receiving a royal warrant in 1938. They were based in Birmingham, near a stream called Chad Brook. The area around the brook was known as Chad Valley. One of the leading toymakers for many years, the company declined in the 1970s, and was finally taken over in 1978. The brand has changed hands a number of times since then, and is now owned by Sainsbury's.

WEAVE-O-GRAM consisted of a frame, which contained a number of picture loops, some running vertically and some horizontally. By moving the loops, a number of different pictures can be created.
