Beatitudes #5: blessed are the merciful!

Blessed are the merciful
For God will have mercy
On you!

As it is written
7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy. (Matthew 5:7 NASB)

The Lord will always have
Mercy on you!

As it is written
22 The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end,
For His compassions do not fail.
(Lamentations 3:22 NASB)

So, be like your father and
Be merciful to others. By
Not judging others, not
Condemning them and
Forgiving them!


As it is written
36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. 37 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;
(Luke 6:36-37 ESV)

Here is my closing prayer…

Father God,
Thank you, Lord, for the Beatitudes that teach us to be more like you! Help me to be merciful to others just like you have been merciful to me. Help me to not judge others, not condemn others and to forgive others. In Jesus name amen!
