Helios 44-2 58mm | Test footage

Описание к видео Helios 44-2 58mm | Test footage

A compilation of test footage, which I shot in my garden.

I shot this all on my Sony A74, with a K&F M42 - NEX adaptor and a Nisi True Colour graduated ND filter (to control exposure while shooting at f/2, which all these shots were set to).

It was all shot in standard picture profile, 4K 25p hand held(hence the camera shake). No colour grade was applied this footage. The only thing I added was a bit of film grain, because that goes so well with the aesthetic of this lens.

The bokeh characteristics truly shine when there is camera movement, so it is recommended to use a gimbal, especially with the fact that this lens is fully manual and therefore does not talk to your camera. A tripod would be a good idea when racking focus - especially if going from the closest focal point to the furthest, as the focus ring has got tons of throw. I was quite okay to shoot handheld as it gives viewers a good idea as to what they could expect when filming with this lens.

I couldn't recommend this lens more, even just to play around with.
