How to make UAN password forget or generate process

If you have forgotten your UAN (Universal Account Number) password, you can reset or generate a new password through the EPFO Member Portal. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Steps to Reset or Generate UAN Password:
Visit the EPFO Member Portal:
Go to the official website: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.go...

Click on 'Forgot Password?':
On the login page, click on the 'Forgot Password' option below the login form.

Enter Your UAN:

Type your UAN number and the captcha code.
Click Submit.
Verify Your Mobile Number:

The mobile number linked to your UAN will be displayed on the screen.

If this number is correct, click on Yes to receive an OTP.
If your mobile number has changed, update it through your employer or visit your regional EPFO office.

Enter OTP:

Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
Click Verify.

Set a New Password:

Once the OTP is verified, you’ll be prompted to set a new password.
Ensure the password meets EPFO’s requirements (minimum 8 characters, including letters, numbers, and special characters).
Confirm the password and click Submit.

Login with the New Password:

Go back to the login page and log in using your UAN and the newly set password.
