That proved to work in WVZ MFG Publishing Co's favor, when Dave Giles II landed songwriting placement on Beyonce's Renaissance album.  With this interview being recorded back in November, when the Grammy nominations were first announced, Dave and his business partner, Daryl Garrett Jr., shared their insight on how they're empowering Black artists through their boutique music publishing company, the challenges they've had to navigate personally and professionally, and the intentional steps they're capitalizing on since becoming Grammy nominated.
