I've been wanting to try humic acid on my lawn as I've heard great things about the benefits of humates. A lot of the products I've seen in ready to use form or granular form are very expensive per application for the size of my lawn. So I wanted a cheaper alternative and I think I've found it. Terra Vita 2 lb 90% humic 100% water soluble. This 2 pound bag makes 4 gallons of liquid concentrate. You just mix it up in a jug of water, then mix the final mixed jug at 1 ounce per 1,000 sq ft in a tank sprayer or hose end sprayer. So this 2 pound bag at $25 gets me 512,000 square feet of coverage! It should last me a few years at this rate!
