Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life GameCube Longplay #2 - Spring 8-10 Summer 1-3 Year 1 (No Commentary)

Описание к видео Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life GameCube Longplay #2 - Spring 8-10 Summer 1-3 Year 1 (No Commentary)

I'm playing Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life for GameCube!

In this video I play for 6 in-game days. I finish the end of of Spring, and I play a few days of Summer.

I didn't know each season was only 10 days!

I am still pursuing Nami.

I have gotten more animals and harvested many crops!

The one I'm playing is for GameCube, and I am playing on the Wii, as GameCube games can be played on the Wii.

A Wonderful Life exists on other platforms and has also been remade as Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life for the Nintendo Switch! So, if you'd like to play, there is a more modern remade version.

What I do know of the one for the Switch is that on there you can choose he or she or they pronouns, and that you can marry any marriage candidate regardless of your gender choice.

This is not the case for the version on GameCube, where on A Wonderful Life you can only play as a boy with he/him pronouns, and you have the choice of 3 female marriage candidates.

There is also Harvest Moon Another Wonderful Life for GameCube, in which you play as a girl, with she/her pronouns and I assume there are male marriage candidates, and I assume probably 3 of them.

I don't have that one, I might get it, but, honestly, might not. I feel that when and if I finish this one, that if I feel like it I may just get Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life for the Switch. I don't REALLY feel the need to play the same plot 3 times, and it seams the Switch version probably would have more to offer.

In Case You're Wondering:

I am playing Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life for GameCube using a GameCube controller

I am playing on the Wii

(The Wii can play GameCube games)

I did use a Wii remote to press start. You actually NEED to use a Wii remote to do this. The GameCube controller will not be functional until you start the GameCube game.

I am recording using OBS on my laptop by using a capture card and an RCA to HDMI adapter, as the cords for the Wii would not plug directly into a capture card without an adapter.

I'm using a fairly cheap capture card by DIGITNOW. I've bought it from Amazon, and you can find it via this link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09...

It's about $30 USD

It says it does 60 FPS but from my experience it does 30 at best.

It does come with an HDMI cord and an A to A USB cord, which you will need both of.

However, the HDMI cord it comes with is a bit short, unless you're going to be right next to all of your devices.

Recording involves cords plugged in to your device, your TV, and your laptop or computer. I eventually opted to buy a very long HDMI cord in order to sit on the couch in my living room and play from the living room TV comfortably. I bought a 10 foot cord, you could probably get away with shorter, it really depends on how far away / spread apart your devices are.

This is the RCA to HDMI adapter I'm using, also from Amazon:

Recording does seem to be some-what demanding on my laptop, and my laptop is very hot at the moment. I have 16 GB RAM, and no, I don't really know the other specs.

These are not links where I get a commission if you order from them. I just thought it might be helpful to have this information readily available incase someone else wanted to try to record something.
