Car designer Dilip Chhabria arrested by Mumbai Police in forgery case

The Mumbai Police’s crime branch arrested renowned car designer, Dilip Chhabria yesterday. Chhabria has been arrested on the charges of cheating and forgery. The police has seized Chhabria’s DC Avanti sportscar. It costs ₹75 lakh and is currently in the custody of the police. A complaint was filed against Dilip Chhabria on December 19 by his 5 clients post which the police investigated and arrested Chhabria. He has been charged with section 420 of cheating under the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Chhabria is known for designing India's first sports casr DC Avanti which is seized in this case.
