Che (Silkworm Thorn, Mandarin Melon Berry, Chinese Melonberry), Cudrania tricuspidate

COMPREHENSIVE review of the Che tree. This fruit tree is the BEST uncommon fruit tree. It originates from China and was introduced to America 100 years ago! Che fruit is soft and tastes like cantaloup-watermelon! The tree has beautiful leaves, is drought-tolerant, and grows to a modest size.

The Che tree is also called the Cudrang, Chinese Melonberry, Chinese Mulberry, Mandarin Melonberry, Silkworm Thorn, and Storehousebush.
Also, its species name has changed from Cudrania tricuspidata to Maclura tricuspidata.
