1. Kenyan Hockey Players Learn the Game in Toronto

Three members of the Kenya Ice Lionesses women's hockey program, Carol Joseph, Chumbana Likiza, and Hanan Ali, traveled to Toronto to participate in a development camp with the Black Girl Hockey Club of Canada. They will learn new hockey skills and leadership skills from pro coaches and network with other young women and children of color. This is a dream come true for the Kenyan players, who have never practiced with women from outside their own country before. They will also get to meet PWHL star Sarah Nurse and attend a Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre.
