Country.
2.we celebrated independence day because
Our country get independent from the
British rule on 15 august in 1947.The
Prime minister hoist the national flag and give
A speech.we remember those who sacrificed
their lives for freedom of our country .
3. Republic day is celebrated on 26 January.
It is celebrated at Rajpath in New Delhi. There is
a grand parade on this day. The armed forces,
Police,folk dancers and students take part in it
and receive bravery awards.
Ans4. The birthdays of ten sikh gurus are celebrated
As Gurupurab. Huge procession (nagar kirtan)are taken
Out through cities and towns.prayers are held in all
Gurudwara and Langer is on this day all over country.
Ans5. Pongal is mainly celebrated Tamil nadu.it celebrate
For three days after harvesting of rice they worship
the sun god ,rain god and cows.they special dish
Pongal rice fed cows.
