The scent profile however, is not for everyone, especially for the expensive price. The reason is that while having a nicely transparent fruity smell, the immortelle and osmanthus together create a bitter herbal smell a bit like licorice, or a bit like an oversteeped spicy black oriental tea. That smell, I think, is not for everyone. Yet this fragrance perfectly captures the qualities of Jupiter's moon Ganymede, which is said to be composed of equal parts silicate rock and water, more specifically containing an internal ocean, and also contains an iron-rich liquid core. The scent as such is crisp, tangy, metallic, sour, clear & refreshing, watery yet potent and even smoky and herbaceous.
