WHO WE ARE:
We are Teresa & Rheinallt, the owners / custodians of Min y Don. Our webcam shares the view from our home and accommodation business of the spectacular Llandudno North Shore, from the entrance of the Victorian Pier to our west (left of cam), to the Little Orme to our east (directly in centre of cam). The camera runs 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and we do our utmost to keep "up-time" as high as possible. Wherever necessary, we endeavour to carry out essential system maintenance to overnight periods to reduce down-time during peak viewing hours.

Min y Don is our home, from which we run a six bedroom guest house with all six guest bedrooms sharing the same view over three floors (all sea facing double / king or suite rooms). We do not run the cam for commercial gain - however, we have added our telephone number so that viewers may contact us should you wish to stay over and enjoying the view first hand. You can find us on TripAdvisor (to check out our guest reviews) and book directly via our website for our best prices. Links are added below for your convenience.

Min y Don stands on a very historic site - the original building stood here well before Llandudno town was developed by the Victorians as a tourist destination. The building originally served as the water wheel-house for the "New Mine" copper ore mill (thus the restaurant name) - its 15 foot water wheel powering the crushing mill for the copper ore mined from the Great Orme's newly discovered copper ore streams. The Great Orme has produced copper ore for 3,500 years - perhaps longer, but the "new mines" were developed in the early 1800's. There is an access shaft 30 meters from our doorstep and we are members of the Great Orme Exploration Society (GOES) - we attach a link to GOES's website below, which we encourage you to visit
