1) Check if python is installed on your mac already by typing "python --version" into your terminal
2) Head over to https://www.python.org/downloads/ to download python 3
3) Open your bash profile by typing vi ~/.bash_profile into your terminal
4) Insert the line alias python=python3 into your bash profile
5) You have installed python on a mac
