April walking vlog: Day 8 and 9 - another blustery day in the Welsh countryside with cute lambs

Hello friends, thank you for joining me on another walk. It has been another couple of wet and blustry days here but we have managed to find some moments of joy including the cutest lambs.

Having you in my pocket as I overcome personal challenges is very comforting and encouraging♥️

I have signed up to the stand up to cancer fundraising challenge. The challenge is to walk 60 miles during April with your dog.

This challenge is not su much the physical challenge for me but more to reclaim my joy and overcome anxiety and fear that has developed over the last 9 months or so. Geoff (our poodle) and I have walked miles every single day since he joined our family and it is or was the highlight of my day, sadly due to a couple of nasty and frightening experiences with dogs off their lead I became really anxious and scared…..as did Geoff.

This fear has resulted in us now only walking around the neighbourhood where we live and not venturing out over the fields and through the woods which breaks my heart. Well all that is about to change and through April I am going to conquer my anxiety, re-gain my joy in walking and re-build Geoff’s confidence too.
