This week we hear the story of The Prodigal Son with a new spin. When Jesus told this parable to his disciples, he spoke of a physical famine that affected the land and a father that ran to greet his son. How can we see God running to us and our neighbors in our time of spiritual and emotional famine? And how can we do the same to our loved ones and neighbors in need?

Our readings are from Psalm 32 and Luke 15: 1-3, 11b-32.
