On May 1, 2020 during the Coronavirus Pandemic Quarantine, Peter Kendall Clark launched a daily series of concerts for the Brooklyn Heights Community gathering to applaud the Front Line Workers. The concerts have lifted the spirits of the neighborhood and have been covered widely in the news. #songsfromtheledge #songsfromthestoop #brownstonebaritone

After 100 consecutive concerts featuring friends from New York City Opera and Broadway, he scaled back to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule. Currently he appears alternate weeks at 62 Montague St. on Wednesdays and College Place (or Fridays if the weather is better.) For most current performance info check:

BB: "The Broadway opening of the original production of Follies was April 4, 1971, so this was just past the 50th anniversary. I'm Still Here was written for Yvonne DeCarlo after she had been performing "Boy, can that boy Foxtrot" in previews. This iconic "survivor song'' is really hitting home for me these days, especially the line "I got through all of last year, and I'm here." Also stoop of 62 Montague reminds me of the original Boris Aronson design for Follies."

PETER KENDALL CLARK, "The Brownstone Baritone," has created roles in numerous world premieres, including the role of Jove in Marc Blitzstein’s Cain in New York City as well as the title role in Ted Rosenthal’s jazz opera Dear Erich at New York City Opera, for which The New York Times praised his “gravity and earthy sound.” He has also sung leading operatic and musical theatre roles with Caramoor Opera, Anchorage Opera, Opera on the James, Ashlawn Opera, Hawaii Opera Theatre, Virginia Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, Chelsea Opera, Syracuse Opera and Skylight Music Theatre. Recent roles include Older Thompson in Glory Denied, Sweeney Todd, Henry Higgins, Fredrik Eggerman, King Arthur, MacHeath, Count Almaviva and Eugene Onegin. A regular performer with New York City Opera, he was featured in Harold Prince’s production of Candide, Peter Eötvös' Angels in America, La Fanciulla del West, and Charles Wuorinen's Brokeback Mountain, and the premiere of Iain Bell/Mark Campbell’s Stonewall. Since May of 2020 he has given over 150 outdoor concerts in the series Songs From The Ledge outside his home in Brooklyn Heights.
