高野山　弘法大師生誕1250年祭

令和5年（2023年）はお大師さまがお生まれになって1250年の記念の年です。高野山では、ご誕生日の6月15日を中心として、5月14日～7月9日までの57日間、｢いのちよ輝け～大師の みこころと共に～｣のスローガンのもと宗祖弘法大師御誕生1250年記念大法会を執行いたします。お大師さまのご誕生を祝うとともに、子供の頃から聡明であったお大師さまにあやかり、現代の子供たちが元気で健やかに、賢く育つことを願う法会でもあります。
5月14日は奥之院と金堂の2ヶ所午前9時に法会が同時開催なのでどちらに行くべきか悩んだのですが来週から毎週金堂では開催されるので今回は奥之院にしました。
ただ、奥之院では撮影禁止な為、奥之院に向かう僧侶の行列を撮影するにとどまりましたがこれはこれで圧巻でした。雨が降るなかでしたがたくさんの方々がお参りなされていました。

At Koyasan, for 57 days from May 14th to July 9th, centering on June 15th, the founder of Kobo Daishi, under the slogan "Let your life shine - with Daishi's heart -". We will hold the Grand Puja Commemorating the 1250th Anniversary of His Birth. In addition to celebrating the birth of Daishi, it is also a puja to pray that modern children will grow up to be energetic, healthy, and wise, following in the footsteps of Daishi, who was intelligent from childhood.
