Mandarones - Queen Of The Riverbed

"Catharsis" was formerly named as "LowDown", which was the working title for a new album we started to record way back when. One of our core characteristics being experimentalism, we just had to try vocals for a second time at some point.. Well here it is. Three of the five songs are accompanied by Kaspar Kuntor. Just after we finished the recordings, some of us were tired, some had to leave because of their job, some just needed to sort out some stuff. So we took a hiatus from active playing.
A year later Tanel, Tõnis and Rait started slowly coming together again. Here we are, about 3 years later, with Timo having made his return and the band is humming along better than ever.
Since it seemed a shame, to let the songs just remain a memory of hard work, they were finally released in January 2020. And now they are an EP.
