Eurostar (UK) train fleet/rolling stock. Eurostar (ES) is an international open access train operating company serving Great Britain operating high speed channel tunnel rail link out of London St Pancras in England. Since 2019 Eurostar also operate continental services in France, Belgium and The Netherlands after merging with Thalys, however this video just includes only the rolling stock that operates/operated on services through the Channel Tunnel serving Great Britain.

Eurostar (British services) operate services between London St Pancras International station in London and Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam with services operating hourly between Paris and London. Limited seasonal extensions have operated in the past but not in the current timetable as of September 2025. The station calls in England at Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International have been withdrawn as of 2020 and have not yet been reinstated. From the early 2030s Eurostar plan to operate new services from London to Frankfurt (Germany) and from London to Geneva (Switzerland).

This video shows the current train fleet (September 2025) along with the planned future rolling stock, past rolling stock and cancelled rolling stock for this rail operator.

The Eurostar train fleet is currently in the process planning a new trains order to replace the older class 373 trains and for the introduction of proposed new direct services between London and continental Europe.

Eurostar (for UK services) operate 2 classes of trains both of which operate on services out of London St Pancras along high speed 1.
The older class 373 have been in service since the first passenger channel tunnel services began in 1994. These trains have mostly been replaced however a limited number remain in service. Each e300 TGV high speed train features 18 passenger carriages and 2 power cars ad feature a max speed of 186mph.
The newer class 373 were introduced from late 2015 onwards and replaced most of the older trains. The e320 Velaro can operate on all routes from London including those to Amsterdam via Rotterdam which the e300 can not. These units have a higher max speed of 200mph.
On both train types the same 3 accommodation options are available including 2+2 seating in Eurostar Standard and 2+1 in Eurostar Plus (previously Standard Premium/Plus) and Eurostar Premium (previously Business Class/First Class).

Previously more three capitals class 373 operated CTRL services but these have now been withdrawn and mostly scrapped or preserved.

Cancelled Eurostar UK trains include shorter North of London class 373 units with 14 instead of 18 passenger carriages. These units were planned to operate regional Eurostar services to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, York, Manchester and Birmingham however these services never started and the class 373 trains for these services were transferred to France for domestic SNCF services. GNER (East Coast main line operator) also leased 3 of these NoL class 373 sets for a few years between London Kings Cross and York/Leeds.
Other cancelled Eurostar stock includes all locomotives and coaching stock for the planned Nightstar overnight sleeper service from Plymouth, Swansea, Edinburgh and Glasgow to France and Belgium. This service never started operating with the class 37 and class 92 locomotives either being stored, sold or temporarily used by Eurostar along with class 73 until the opening of the new Eurostar Temple Mills depot replacing North Pole depot for Eurostar rolling stock. The Nightstar carriages moved to Canada.

The train fleet information is correct as possible as of September 2025 and future train fleet dates are based for the planned introduction for passenger services. Note that ONLY rolling stock for Eurostar UK services are included and NOT rolling stock exclusively operating in continental Europe. Past Train Fleet is based on Eurostar services since the opening of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in 1994.
