OCTOPATH TRAVELER
Octopath Traveler is a role-playing video game developed by Square Enix, in collaboration with Acquire.
The game was released for the Nintendo Switch in July 2018, for Windows in June 2019, for Stadia in April 2020, and for Xbox One in March 2021.
It received generally favorable reviews, with praise for its presentation, music, and battle system, while its story received more mixed responses.
The game had sold over 3 million copies worldwide by September 2022.
A prequel, Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, launched for Android and iOS in 2020 in Japan, followed by a worldwide release in 2022.
A sequel, Octopath Traveler II, was released in 2023.

SYNOPSIS
Octopath Traveler is set in the land of Orsterra, which was created by thirteen deities.
One of them, the fallen god Galdera, was sealed away within the afterworld by the other deities after he refused to relinquish what they created.
The Order of the Sacred Flame, the continent's dominant church, formed to worship the leader of the non-fallen gods, which continue to preside over Orsterra.

PRIMROSE AZELHART
Primrose Azelhart is one of the eight playable characters in Octopath Traveler.
She was only one of the two playable characters in the Project Octopath Traveler Demo, the other being Olberic.
Primrose was a member of the once proud House Azelhart, until one fateful night changed her life for the worse.
Now, she takes the front of a dancer in Sunshade as a means to try and track down the men who murdered her father.

APPEARANCE
Primrose has long brown hair that falls past her waist and is tied up into a high ponytail.
She possesses a slim yet curvaceous build, has olive skin, and wears makeup.
Considered very beautiful, she is adorned with jewelry, such as golden loop earrings, bracelets, and a necklace that may have been given to her by Helgenish, her former employer.
As a dancer who works in an establishment meant for the pleasure of the watchers, Primrose predominantly wears a red dancer outfit consisting of a short top and a high slit skirt that leaves much of her bare skin showing.
On her feet are brown sandals.

PERSONALITY
After the death of her father, the loss of her home, and the persistent disgrace Helgenish brought upon her while she worked at Sunshade, circumstances forced Primrose to mature quickly.
She lives to enact revenge on the three men who took her father's life, and she is willing to endure anything - the jeers of the other dancers, the cat-calling of her customers, and Helgenish's daily abuse - in order to obtain leads on their location.
She reveals a more relaxed and playful side during much of her Travel Banter with the party, flirting and jesting with them.
As such, she seems to open up much more easily around those she considers friends.
Over the course of her journey with the other travelers, she comes to the realization that she is not alone anymore, and that having companions gives her strength.
