Patrick leaves after seeing Robin's comfort with the clumsy carpenter. He returns home and tells Liz that he thinks Robin is sleeping with another man. Liz tells Patrick that it's not uncommon for women suffering from postpartum depression to have an affair. Patrick talks to little Emma and vows to not let whatever happens with Robin to affect her. Robin returns home. She tells Patrick about what happened in Rochester, but leaves out the part about the clumsy carpenter. She admits that she is suffering from postpartum depression.
