If such a reboot were to occur, I would hope for it to maintain respect for the original content, while introducing elements to modernize and enrich the series, akin to the Ultimate Marvel initiative. While I wouldn't suggest a complete revamp of the timeline, some necessary updates could be made to better suit contemporary audiences. For example, Master Roshi's behavior towards certain characters could be toned down significantly, while still maintaining his characteristically eccentric personality.

I would recommend introducing additional context and backstory for characters such as Bulma, Krillin, Yamcha, and Gohan. This would not only enhance their characters but also make the audience more emotionally invested in their journeys. Particularly, Master Roshi's backstory could be explored, adding depth to his character. With the Red Ribbon Army Saga, I would suggest introducing Dr. Gero earlier in the story. He could be one of the behind-the-scenes masterminds, adding a layer of intrigue. Furthermore, I believe underrated villains like Mercenary Tao could benefit from expanded roles and extra scenes. Lastly, with regard to the Piccolo Sagas, I suggest combining them into one comprehensive arc, with more exploration into Piccolo Junior's early life and his journey towards becoming the character we know and love. This could pave the way for showcasing his father's lingering influence, which gradually dissipates over time.
