South London Botanical Institute: a tour of our institute, garden and activities in Tulse Hill

Take a virtual tour of the SLBI in Tulse Hill, South London, established in 1910. We have everything that people need to pursue an interest in plants: a herbarium with 100,000 specimens, a library of botanical reference books, microscopes and experts in botany.

Our garden includes themed borders, from medicinal plants to our South American border, plus our conservatory of carnivorous plants! We regularly open our doors to the public and school visits and run events, workshops and walks in our local community in London. We welcome everyone with an interest in plants and fungi.
