Me and Kay Kay found this lake tucked perfectly between two mountains, surrounded by fall foliage glowing in the sunrise. The water was 51 degrees, the air was crisp, and we were scared to get in… but we did.

We dunked ourselves, swam a little, and honestly — it was one of the greatest experiences of our lives. The reflections, the colors, the peace — it felt like time stopped.

This wasn’t planned or scripted. Just two people, married, in school, balancing life — taking a moment to feel alive.
