You can tip your dishwasher on its side to quickly clean the water from the sensor. If that doesn't fix it, remove the bottom of the dishwasher and use a paper towel to clean off the water logged styrofoam. Samsung dishwasher model DW80M2020US.

I had this problem because I installed a new garbage disposal and forgot to punch out the dishwasher inlet tab. Water couldn't drain from the dishwasher and flooded it. I let it sit for a couple days, but it never dried out. Dried the styrofoam and it's operating normal again.
