Anyway,
During a nasty storm in Wales around 9:30 pm, 3 people take refuge in an old mansion after failing to get to their destination.
The mansion itself holds darkness with its inhabitants and with the thunder storm and heavy rain they decide to stay. They are soon joined by two more people who also stranded and take shelter in the mansion.

Watch out for the young Gloria Stuart, she plays (Margaret Waverton),
the wife of Raymond Massey's character (Philip Waverton)

also plays the old lady "Rose Dawson" in James Cameron's "Titanic" who comes on the ship after seeing the news of the discovery of some drawings done by Jack Dawson of her.
