Dustin Wilson caught the entrepreneurial bug as a youngster, mowing lawns in his hometown outside of Baltimore, MD. Today, he's a Master Sommelier based in New York City best known for his position as Wine Director of the 3 Michelin star restaurant, Eleven Madison Park. This expertise led him to have a leading role in the critically acclaimed wine documentary, SOMM.

But Dustin always had his sights set on building something from the ground up. So he dropped everything to launch Verve Wine, a high-end bottle shop with locations in NYC and SF. We sat down with the Master himself to talk about his motivation to step down from the highest echelons if the Hospitality business to start up a brick and mortar.
