Private Practice - "You caused my heart to bleed..."

New fandom for me! Oh my gosh... I am SO in love with this show right now. SO obsessed. This video is very much seasons 3-5 with only like one season 1 scene and a couple season 2 scenes, sorry about that. My explanation? I saw 2 of my friends who are also awesome vidders, hiphuggerz4ever & GreysALIASAnatomy, make amazing tributes to episode 4x07 after it aired a year and a half ago ("Did You Hear What Happened to Charlotte King?"). You can watch their amazing vids I'm referring to here:

And well I'd seen quite a few of pheobecolefan's videos too for years, usually Addison AU things.
I also always tried to watch the episodes of PP where a Grey's Anatomy character crossed over onto PP (although I think I'd missed the Bailey one)... and I remember when I'd seen 3x11 and Maya was pregnant at the end I was almost tempted to watch the next episode. ;) But seeing the fanvideos about how epic 4x07 was... that was what made me finally decide to watch an episode of the show.

So I downloaded 4x07 and started the show from there and got hooked, I watched 4x07 until the end of season 4. Over the summer I saw season 1 which is only 9 episodes long... and it was pretty good. I enjoyed it. Season 4 was probably better though. I then continued and watched 2 or 3 episodes of season 2 but that season starts off kinda slow and less epic and idk I lost interest and ended up hooked on Bones instead and watched all 6 seasons of that show. Then the new fall TV season started and I totally just forgot about Private Practice. I didn't remember it until I saw some people on twitter mentioning that they were excited for "the intervention episode" or something - the mid-season finale of season 5 (the 2-hour special that was 5x08 & 5x09) and so I started the show again from there.

So at that point I was SUPER into season 5 and adoring it but I was kinda missing some things since I'd only seen 1x01-2x02, 4x07-4x22, and 5x08 and on... so I think 2 or 3 weeks ago I decided to download 2x22 because the show kept referencing when Violet was attacked in seasons 4 & 5 and I wanted to see that episode for myself lol... I googled and found it was 2x22-3x01 when that happened so... I ended up watching 2x22 til 4x06 and catching up on most of what I'd missed. I rewatched a lot of season 4 that I'd already seen because now I had better context... but eventually skipped ahead to 5x01 and watched those first 7 episodes of that season that I'd missed too.

So now at the time that this video of mine was being made, I'd seen the whole show except most of season 2! I totally forget most of the details of season 1 so this video didn't really include that season lol... and well I was watching season 2 as I made it so a little season 2 got in there... but it's really mainly seasons 3-5. And honestly even just limited to those 3 seasons, I totally wish I could've gotten way more in here!!

The show does have some great cute moments, happy moments, beautiful love, etc. But this song was super inspiring and made me want to capture only the pure angst, which is my personal favorite part of the show. I'm addicted to the depressing storylines, the extremely upset characters... idk. :P After all 4x07 "Did You Hear What Happened To Charlotte King?" was the episode that got me into the show... so clearly I'm a sucker for intense drama lol.

I really don't think I varied the characters well enough nor got quite enough of my favorite things in here... but oh well. I tried fairly hard with this video to make it pretty good and do this epic show justice. By the way I'm SO thrilled it was renewed for a season 6. ;)

It is super spoilery but she said she didn't care about spoilers lol. And well... FYI if you wanted to start with 2x22 you might enjoy the show more just watching that episode through the season 5 finale (where we currently are)... not that seasons 1 & 2 are bad, just that in my opinion seasons 3-5 are SO amazing. :P
