Water Use, Energy and Waste Management for Sustainable Agriculture (Malayalam)

Sustainable water use, energy and waste management in farming is the need of the hour given the increasing pressure on scarce water resources, non-renewable energy resources and environmentally harmful methods of waste disposal. The video talks about how farmers can engage in sustainable agriculture practices to combat these issues while not only helping the environment, but also enhancing their livelihood.

Sustainable agriculture practices are supported under the ‘Enhancement of Smallholder Spice Farmers’ Capacities in Sustainable Farming’ project in six Indian states - Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana. The project is part of the develoPPP.de Programme implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The lead partners for this project are AVT McCormick and McCormick Switzerland.
