A disciple never searches for a Guru, it is the Guru who searches for the disciple, this is a very old Tibetan saying! You will say how is this possible! I have never seen a teacher searching for me till date! I am the one who has to struggle if I have to prepare for the exam! So look, first of all it was not said in the context of your exam! Where you are fed the knowledge of the exam by paying fees! Here we are talking about life, spirituality and philosophy! This is the most difficult knowledge but the one who imparts it does not charge any fees! Now the question is why will the Guru search for a disciple, what is his need? So it is like when a cloud is filled with water, it is in search of a warm land which it can satiate! The cloud goes to quench the thirst of that dry land, the land is not searching for the cloud! Similarly, when a Guru is filled with knowledge, he also needs an inquisitive disciple to whom he can impart that philosophy! Just like Krishna had chosen Arjun!
