BACH PRELUDE AND FUGUE BWV 532 - LUIS CAPARRA AT LIVE CONCERT - ST CHARLES CHURCH, BUENOS AIRES

Luis Caparra born on 05/23/1958. Konex Award 2009 and 2019. Organist. He graduated from the Carlos López Buchardo National Conservatory with higher education in Piano, Claves and Organ. He has a degree in Musical Arts from UNA. He expanded his instrumental training in Germany, Spain and Holland. Winner of the First Prize of the National Organ Competition (1986), Musical Promotions and Cultural Excellence Scholarship of the Presidency of the Nation (1998). Organist at the San Agustín Parish and La Salle School in Buenos Aires. Professor of organ at the UNA, he also worked at the Faculty of Arts of the UCA and at the Astor Piazzolla Superior Conservatory. Its repertoire includes the complete works of Zípoli, Bach, Mozart, Franck, Brahms, Mendelssohn and Liszt. He performs with local choirs and orchestras, and as a soloist in the CCK Symphony Hall and in several American and European countries.
