Improv. zouk performance by Igor Fraga and Luciana Lua from Zouk NY at an art exhibit, "The River" -- exhibition by Naoe Suzuki at the VanDernoot Gallery at Lesley University College of Art & Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts. November 22, 2013.

Igor Fraga and Luciana Lua won the 1st place at the Brazilian Beat Congress in Toronto in 2013. They're both Zouk NY certified zouk instructors. They've been performing and teaching together this year.

Igor Fraga was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He is an associate teacher at Zouk NY. He has performed and taught in New York, Boston, Toronto, Montreal and DC. He also DJs regularly at Zouk congresses and events in North America.

Luciana Gravotta was born in Argentina but grew up with the multiculturalism of New York City. Luciana is the assistant director at Zouk NY and has performed and taught in New York, Boston, Montreal and Toronto.

Naoe Suzuki was born in Tokyo, Japan, and has lived in the U.S. for the last 25 years. She is a visual artist in the Boston area. Her current project, BLUE explores water as both healing energy and damaged natural resource that has been exploited and contaminated. "The River" is her solo exhibition at the VanDernoot Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Naoe is also a Zouk NY certified zouk instructor.
