Gospel Freedom E.1: What Must I Do? (Documentary)

Episode 1 of Gospel Freedom: Complete In Him entitled: "What Must I Do?" a documentary series on biblical salvation.

In this episode, we introduce the concept of salvation, examine popular notions about how a sinner is saved, and compare these views to the biblical testimony of salvation by grace.

Some teach that salvation becomes effectual when a sinner decides to follow the risen Savior. Others claim that salvation occurs when a person prays the 'sinner’s prayer,' asking God into their heart to receive the benefits of Christ’s work on the cross. Many believe that a profession of faith can only be considered genuine if, upon inspection, the fruits of one's life align with a justifiable standard of obedience and adherence to God’s law, with those who fail to meet this standard deemed false converts. Some even argue that unless an individual fully surrenders to the lordship of Christ, they cannot be saved. Do any of these views align with the testimony of Scripture?
